What Is a Model Call?

This orchard is one of our favorite places we have ever shot. The light, the sets, the energy women bring here. We pour everything into this location every single season. Before we tear the sets down and leave California, we want to give a few more women the chance to experience it.

Model Calls are also where we get to push ourselves. New posing ideas. New techniques we want to test with real clients in a setting we know inside and out. You get the most focused, creative version of us. This is a rare thing we offer selectively, and it fills fast.

What Is a Model Call and How Is It Different? ▼
A Model Call is an application-based booking at a reduced investment. Your $699 session fee is waived, your $1,000 retainer applies directly to your image order, and you receive 15% off digital images. The session experience is identical to our full-priced sessions. Same private orchard. Same dressing room trailer. Same quality.
Do I Have to Sign a Model Release? ▼
No. Model release is completely optional. Your session is private by default. Your images and behind-the-scenes content stay yours unless you choose to share them. After your gallery reveal, once you've seen your photos, you decide. There is no pressure either way.
How Does the Application Process Work? ▼
Fill out the application and we personally review every one. Once you submit, you'll receive a confirmation with our timeline for decisions. If you're selected, we reach out directly with next steps. The application takes about 3 minutes to complete.
How Does the Retainer Work? ▼
Your $1,000 retainer secures your spot at booking. That full $1,000 goes directly toward your image order at your gallery reveal. You are not pre-paying for images. You are building a credit toward whichever images you fall in love with.
Do You Offer Payment Plans? ▼

I've Never Done Anything Like This. Is That Okay? ▼
Most of our clients haven't. You don't need modeling experience. You don't need to know how to pose. Tori guides every single movement, every expression, every detail. All you have to do is show up and trust the process.
What Should I Wear? ▼
Wear outfits that make you feel confident. A big t-shirt, a full lingerie set, pajamas, or nothing at all. After booking you'll receive a style guide with options and inspiration. Choose outfits you're okay with getting dirty or wet outdoors. Footwear:
  • Most clients go barefoot during the session.
  • Bring slides or water shoes for walking between shots.
  • March mornings are cool. Pack warm socks or boots for between shots.
Preparing Your Outfits:
  • Try them on. Make sure they fit and feel amazing.
  • Remove tags to avoid distractions in photos.
  • Iron or steam to remove wrinkles.
Where Is the Session Located? ▼
The session takes place in Northern California on a private orchard property. We send the exact address once you're booked. Some areas near the location have limited cell reception, so download an offline map before you head out. Closest airports:
  • Sacramento International Airport (SMF) is the best option for most carriers.
  • Sacramento Executive Airport (SAC) for private aviation.
  • Nut Tree Airport (VCB) for private aviation.
Can I Bring Someone with Me? ▼
Yes. If having someone there enhances your experience, bring them. Make sure they bring supportive, positive energy. Some clients bring someone for the drive who stays in the car during the session. Let us know ahead of time so we're on the same page.
Will My Photos Be Shared? ▼
Only if you want them to be. Your session stays private unless you tell us yes. Every photo you see us post was shared with full permission and enthusiasm. We never share without consent.
Do I Need to Be Available All Day? ▼
Taking the full day off is recommended. We notify you of your exact session time a few days before. Having the day free keeps you relaxed and fully present. Many clients turn this into a mini trip to themselves.
